Worship 101 is one of our major core classes for certification, and one of our most important offerings. It is designed as a broad survey course that will help musicians and worship planners better understand the “big picture.” With sessions on theology, critical thinking, church and worship history, worship and culture, and worship planning basics, students will gain a solid background both for their current work and for future inquiry.
We’re offering this class twice in the fall in two different formats. Section 1 will meet in Minneapolis for two hours on eight Monday evenings beginning on September 28th. This section is available to distance learners via live videoconference using their personal computers. Section 2 is offered as a three-day intensive at Roseville Lutheran in the Twin Cities November 9th-11th (not Nov.2nd-4th as stated on pg.2 of our catalog).
This will be a rich opportunity to share and reflect on your own experience, and engage with others in an open and mutually supportive environment. A wonderful team of teachers will make this a very dynamic experience. Please join us!
