Children’s & Youth Choirs Class…and MORE!

Channeling the Energy

We are excited to be offering, along with The Twin Cities Choristers Guild, a class for those of you who conduct children’s and youth choirs. It is called Channeling the Energy: Nurturing Children’s & Youth Choirs in Rehearsals & Worship and will feature two wonderful instructors, Ann Schrooten and Julie Aune. St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington will be hosting us on February 11th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. You can read more about the class and register here.





Two Classes in Aberdeen, SD

These classes will be presented February 3rd and 4th in Aberdeen, South Dakota at Zion Lutheran Church. Leading Congregational Singing addresses the myriad ways to lift up the voice of the congregation. Teachers for that class are Chad Winterfeldt, Mary Preus and Jay Beech. This class will be on Friday, February 3rd from 9:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Playing Hymns with a Worship Band will feature Jay and other band members teaching us how to include traditional church music in a new way in your worship setting. That class will be at Zion on Saturday, February 4th from 9:00 a.m. – Noon.

Last Chance to Register for The Best of Worship & Praise and Worship 101

Nate BergengrenThe Best of Worship & Praise will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brooklyn Park on January 21st from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

If you are looking for solid music options for your worship or praise band, look no farther! All selections presented will have been filtered for theological content, musical quality, and congregational accessibility. This class is led by Jay and Nate Bergengren.

Also, with this class, for one registration you can bring as many from your congregation as you would like. Registration cost includes one song book.

Worship 101. It is coming up soon, January 23-25, 2017, on the campus of Luther Seminary in St. Paul. This is an opportunity to learn everything you wish you knew about worship with some awesome instructors: Kelly Chatman, Jay Beech, Christian Scharen, Elizabeth Damico and Chad Winterfeldt. You and your classmates are also an integral part of the learning process–the experience and gifts you bring to the table enrich us all. So, register today!
