Saturday, July 23rd, The Center for Worship & Music Studies will once again be offering one of our most popular classes: Church Audio Basics!
Church Audio Basics is a one-day intensive course designed for church musicians, audio engineers, and anyone else who needs to understand the basics of sound system operations. This course also counts as an Technology Training elective for those pursuing certification.
Topics covered will include:
- Core Values for Church Audio Support
- System Components & Basic Mixer Operation
- Microphones & Cables
- Wireless Microphone Basics
- Controlling Feedback
- Basic Troubleshooting
These topics, along with instruction in other useful skills, will help your sound system be an asset rather a distraction. No previous experience necessary.
This class will be offered July 23rd, 9:00am-4:00pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Cost of registration includes lunch and a printed resource book.
